Promoting your course
Occasionally, classes do not attract enough students to remain on the schedule, or students are slow to enroll. The school cannot publicize or promote individual courses.
Exceptions to this policy include courses that are cross-collaborative at IU, such as Themester courses or courses that involve partnerships with classes in other schools or departments. The other exceptions are courses that are by invitation or for which students must apply to be admitted.
You can use the Class Descriptions app in One.IU to promote your course yourself. You can explain what software or equipment students will use, what texts they will read or anything else the 50-word course description does not include.
