An independent contractor is anyone who is not an IU employee but provides services to IU for a fee.
To hire an independent contractor for services, you must submit the form on this page before a formal offer can be made or a requisition can be submitted. Katie Higgins, director of finance, will contact you with instructions when the request has been approved.
