Annual evaluation of unit director
An additional responsibility of the Advisory Committee is to annually review the Unit Director and provide a narrative report to the Associate Dean. The procedures for this review are:
- Advisory Committee Chair solicits feedback from unit faculty not on the Merit Review or Advisory Committee regarding the Unit Director’s performance during the first week of February.
- These faculty have seven days from the solicitation date to respond.
- Advisory Committee Chair requests the Merit Review Committee’s evaluation of the Unit Director during the second week of February.
- Advisory Committee takes into consideration both categories of input and collectively composes a narrative assessment of the Unit Director’s performance, submitted to the Associate Dean by March 1st.
